Alpacas fit our lives like a glove. We love the alpaca fiber, in all its rich colors and hues. The alpaca temperament is very mysterious - quiet, inquisitive and yet veiled in an aura of mystery. Just when we think we understand alpacas, they will do something totally unexpected or otherwise communicate a subtle change in their behavior.

We do know that alpacas are much more intelligent than we first believed. Every day with our herd is a new adventure; not like taking a vacation in a far-off land or risking life and limb, but rather a quiet experience that "speaks" to us, if we're not too agitated from the world's turmoil, and willing to listen.
So, it's difficult to explain simply why alpacas have been a part of our lives for almost twenty years. Our lives have changed somewhat, the alpaca industry continues to grow and evolve, but there's some element in alpacas that remains a constant. You have to do this, just as we have, and then you'll understand.
